Heredia

Heredia is the capital of the Heredia Province in north-central Costa Rica.

Heredia is known as "La ciudad de las flores", ("the city of flowers"). Legend has it that the name derived from some pretty girls whose last name was Flores and thus Heredia became known as "The city of the Flores girls".
