This berry was picked up from the ground by the side of its mother shrub.
You can notice fruit decay as it has probably been sitting on the ground for a couple of days.
But look at the left side of the berry and you can see the radical root of the seed coming out from the fruit!
It even amazes me as this behavior is not seen on all shrubs. This particular shrub is truly bearing vital seed!
