Tortuguero National Park

Tortuguero literally means "lots of turtles".

Every year hundreds of leatherback and green turtles come to nest at the beaches around this northen caribbean area of Costa Rica.

Additionally, right along the beaches, there a the Tortuguero canals that extend for miles and are a pristine haven for all kinds flora and fauna.

This is a most-visit area for all nature lovers.
