The historic and scenic town and valley of Orosi have many attactions and resorts enjoyed by Costa Rican and international tourists. The town of Orosi and the whole Orosi valley have multiple attactions for both Costa Rica and international tourists.

The Orosi valley is very scenic with mountains running on both sides of the Reventazon river. The country side is full of coffee plantations, chayote fields and forests. The Tapanti National Wildlife Reserve is up the river and it is a place to visit to experience the mountain cloud forest.

There are thermal waters spings all around this area, so a couple of thermal pools are available to the public. Additionally, you can visit the historic Orosi Church (circa 1693) and its religious museum. 

And not too far down the valley you can visit the Ujarras church ruins which are sorrounded by well-kept gardens used for weekend picnics by Costa Ricans.
